I write about things and events that have moved me or helped shape and change the way I view the world. My passions are family, animals, Mother Earth, politics, cooking, gardening, woodworking, reading, writing, fairness, equality, kindness, and questioning authority at every level.
My style of writing was greatly influenced during a letter writing course I took back the the 1970s. My instructor explained how it was best to write as if the other person was sitting across from you and you were merely having a conversation. I have honed those long ago lessons and now write in the vernacular, expressing myself the way that is most comfortable to me.
I have written numerous articles on several different sites and have published stories in a national magazine titled, "Our USA Magazine."
Born on May 5th I am most definiately a Taurus...sometimes that is good and other times it is a fault. However, as I've aged, the thunderous sound of hoofs charging has been softened a tad.
While I love to be engaged in a healthy debate, I will not tolerate any verbal abuse or personal attacks. I beleive if you have an opinion then you should be able to defend it without character assasination of those with opposing views.
